With a career spanning over 36 years, Roger Dixon brings a wide range of experience, training and education in law enforcement to the CPMS team.

Mr. Dixon has worked in uniformed and non-uniformed services in both municipal and county government. At the Seattle Police Department, he gained command level experience with responsibility for emergency and non-emergency operational response and deployment, unified command field operations, evaluated and implemented organizational values and policies, staffing, planning, training, ensured budget allocation standards, and conducted internal investigations.

As Vice President of the Seattle Police Officers Guild, Mr. Dixon was a strong leader in the labor organization representing 1,300 commissioned officers; his responsibilities included establishing missions, goals and objectives, managing a multi-million dollar budget, labor-management negotiations, governmental liaison representation, and confidential employee/employer based problem solving.

Mr. Dixon was a founding member and Vice President of the Washington State Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation and presently serves as counsel to the Behind the Badge Foundation, an organization that provides comprehensive support to Washington State’s law enforcement agencies, families and communities after an officer has died or suffered serious injury in the line of duty.

Mr. Dixon presently serves as a Maui Police Commissioner and is responsible for the selection and removal of the Chief of Police, reviewing the annual budget and investigating charges brought forth by the public regarding conduct of the police department or its members.
